Funeral Home will provide Grave Digger/Care Taker with name of grave lot Deed owner and Deed number for the grave lot where the deceased is to be buried. Deed information must be provided to the funeral home by the family of the deceased.
Cemetery Burial Costs:
Monday thru Sunday: $700.00 (casket)
Cremation Burials: $225.00
Newborn Burials: $225.00
Make checks payable to: Salem Hetzel's Union Cemetery Association. Mail payment to Mr. Andrew Lesh, Treasurer, 43 Clubhouse Road, Pine Grove, PA 17963.
Burial Grave Lot Costs
1 Grave = $300.00 + $10.00 fee for Deed Notarizing
2 Graves = $600.00 + $10.00
Persons wishing to buy a grave lot on Salem Hetzel's Cemetery will contact Kathy Nettles, Secretary, 570-739-4968, for application and procedures. Make checks payable for burial lot to: Salem Hetzel's Union Cemetery Association. Mail payment to Kathy Nettles, Secretary, 210 Luckenbill Road, Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972. Upon receipt of check Secretary will initiate the Deed for approval by the Cemetery Board.
Cemetery Lot Owners
Headstones. Lot owners will purchase their headstones from a monument company of their choice. The monument company in turn should contact DJ Moyer, Care Taker, 570-345-2487, to have the appropriate footer prepared to meet the installation requirements of the headstone.
Flowers/Decorations on Graves. During the grass cutting season, April 15th to November 15th, all decorations, statutes, crosses, etc., can only be on the stone or cement base of the headstones. These items cannot be on the ground of the grave.
No shrubs, trees or flowers are to be planted on graves.
Floral decorations for holidays shall be removed within fourteen (14) days after each holiday, unless decorations are on the stone or cement base of the grave marker.
All items on graves not in a presentable condition will be removed by cemetery workers.
